What I collect
When you fill out the contact form on this site, I collect your name, email address, and any of the following you choose to provide: business name, phone number, the plan you're interested in, and any message you write. Separately, I measure how the site is used through Google Analytics, described below. I don't set advertising cookies of my own, and I don't build a profile of you.
How I use it
I use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, follow up about booking a call, and, if you become a customer, to build and run your website. I don't sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people actually read, so I know what to improve. It sets cookies in your browser and reports to Google the pages you view, roughly where in the world you are, the type of device and browser you use, and the site or search that sent you here. It does not tell me who you are, and I do not combine it with anything you send me through the form.
If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, I ask first. Analytics stay switched off until you accept the notice, and permanently if you decline. No cookie is written and no identifier is stored for you in the meantime.
Everywhere else, analytics are on by default and you are not interrupted by a notice, which is what US law allows. You can still turn them off at any time with the button below, and I will remember that.
Either way your answer is remembered in your own browser rather than in a cookie I read, so clearing your browser data resets it. Nothing on the site depends on it.
I run no advertising or remarketing tags, and the advertising permissions Google recognises are refused outright rather than left unset.
Google processes that data under its own privacy policy. To opt out across every site that uses it, install Google's opt-out browser add-on, or block analytics cookies in your browser settings. Declining the notice on this site has the same effect here.
Booking a call
My booking page shows a calendar provided by Calendly, embedded from calendly.com. When you pick a time, the name, email address, and anything else you enter go to Calendly, who process it on my behalf so I can schedule and run the call. Which plan you were reading about is passed along too, so I know what to prepare.
Calendly sets its own cookies inside that calendar and has its own privacy notice. If you'd rather not use it, call or email me instead and I'll book the time by hand. My details are at the bottom of this page.
Where it goes
Nothing is stored on this website. Contact form submissions are emailed straight to me and kept in my email account; bookings are held in Calendly and in my calendar. There is no customer database behind this site holding your information.
Your choices
Email hello@bluegrovestudios.com at any time to ask what information I have about you, correct it, or have it deleted.
Changes
If how I handle information changes, I'll update this page.
