About Bluegrove Studios

I build websites for people who'd rather be running their business.

Bluegrove Studios is a web design studio in Garland, Texas, building websites for local service businesses: shops, trades, and clinics. You want customers to find you, call you, and book with you. That's what a good website does, but only if someone builds it properly and keeps it running month after month. That part is my job, so you can get on with yours.

The person who builds it

Ilias Moharram

  • Over five years building websites, and every Bluegrove site is built by me from the first call to launch.
  • You are not handed to an account manager. The person who takes your call is the person writing the code, and the person who answers when you need a change.
  • This site is one of mine. Look at how it loads, how it reads on your phone, and how easy it was to find the price. That is the standard yours gets built to.

Book a call and you are talking to me, not to a form.

How I work

What to know before you call.

One person builds your site

The person who takes your call is the person who writes the code. They learn what your business does on that call, and the site gets built from what you said rather than from a brief passed along to somebody who never spoke to you. Nothing goes to an account manager and you never explain your business twice.

The prices are on the site already

Three website plans, three ways to sell online, six VIP tiers, and a short list of add-on services, all with their figures next to them. The call is where I confirm which one fits you, not where the number gets invented.

I run it after launch

Hosting, backups, security updates and a monthly allowance of content changes are covered by the fee: one a month on Store Front, five on Broadway. You email or text me the change. There is no dashboard to learn.

You end up owning it

The build fee pays for building the site and buys it outright, so it is yours from the day it goes live on every plan. The monthly is a separate thing: hosting, backups, security and your content changes. If it ever ends I hand over a copy of everything so you can take the site elsewhere, and I do not charge for that.

I work remotely

I'm an online business based in Garland, Texas, with no shop or office to visit. Everything happens by phone, video call, email and text. That is part of how the prices stay where they are, and it means being a few streets away or a few states away makes no difference to the work.

I'll tell you to spend less

If a cheaper plan covers what you need, I'll say so. If ads won't pay for themselves in your line of work, I'll say that too. A client who stays is worth more to me than a bigger first invoice.

Where I work

Garland, and the rest of DFW.

I am in Garland, and most of the businesses I build for are around Dallas and Fort Worth: Plano, Richardson, Mesquite, Rowlett, Arlington, Irving and the rest of the metro. Being close by is genuinely useful, because I already know the towns your customers search from.

Everything happens online, though, so nothing about the work depends on it. I have pages for Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Los Angeles and Miami, and if you are somewhere else in the US that is fine too.

How the money works

No surprises on the invoice.

Starting

You aren't charged for the call, or for the written plan and price I send afterwards. If you go ahead, a $100 deposit books your build into the schedule, and the balance is due at launch, after you have clicked through the finished site.

Running

The monthly starts at launch and covers hosting, backups, security and your content updates. It is what keeps the site online and looked after, and it is separate from the build fee, which has already bought the site outright.

Owning

Yours from the day it goes live, on every plan. The build fee buys it outright, so there is no waiting period and no figure to pay to bring anything forward. I host it and look after it while you are with me, and if that ever ends I hand over a copy of everything and help you move it. Your domain is in your name from the start, everything you gave me stays yours, and I hand back a copy of your content on request.

Full figures are on the plans page, and the terms spell out the deposit, the monthly, and what happens if you stop paying.

Tell me about your business.

A 30-minute call to look at what you have now and what a new site would need to do. You'll leave with a plan and a price, whether or not you hire me.
